Step 2 Choosing a domain name

A domain name is the name of your website e.g. 'www.yourwebsitename.com'

After you have chosen the ebook to sell, you now have to think of a domain name to use. Try not to have too long a domain name and also have several alternatives. It will be a good idea to have the keyword of your ebook topic in the domain name.

Step 3 Register your domain name

After you have decided on a domain name, you can go to any of the domain name registrars to register your domain name.

If you don't know how to do that, you can check out this video tutorial

==> Tutorial 1- Domain Name

Here's an alternative website to register your domain names for only US4.95

==> Netfirms

If you want to use other domain registrars other than ikeys.net, then you will need to do step 4.

Step 4 Configure your DNS

In the same tutorial before this, I showed you how to configure your DNS in NetFirms. If you are using GoDaddy or Namecheap or any other domain name registrars, look for the option to change the DNS or Domain name servers. If you use iKeys.net, you can skip this step because it automatically uses HostingBay as its DNS

Step 7 Install NVU

To edit your sales page, you need an HTML authoring software. Popular ones are MS Frontpage 2003 or Dreamweaver. However, if you would like to use a free HTML editor with essential functions, we recommend using NVU. If you already have Frontpage or Dreamweaver or XsitePro, you don't need this and you can skip this step. This tutorial will guide you on how to download and install NVU.

Step 8 Signing up as affiliates

The beauty of eBookWholesaler ebooks are that you can add in your affiliate links in the ebook. That means when someone buys your book, there is a chance that they may click on the links in the ebook to sites that you are affiliated to. This allows you to have backend income.

At the exclusive product page for each individual page, you will come across this box when you want to brand and generate your ebook.

This tutorial will guide you on how to signup for other websites so that you have the information to fill up these boxes.
